Meet Rocco

The body is designed to heal a zillion times over; and I am here to help maximize its self-healing powers with my scientific and artful use of acupuncture.

As for my story, I grew up around animals and medicine with my father, who was a veterinarian and a huge inspiration. Before acupuncture I worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years and was a proud card-carrying member of modern medicine. However, even with everyone doing their best, I’ve also witnessed a lot of suffering in the face of many chronic degenerative illnesses; and that caused me to seek out further options to help patients recover in a natural and more complete way.

When I was in pre-medical school at Cornell, I delved into their massive libraries searching for various healing methods. Out of their millions of of books, there was exactly 1 tiny little book about acupuncture when I was a student. I devoured it in one sitting and was completely captivated by it’s long tradition and unique perspective on health. During this time I was also studying martial arts and started meditating; and the decision to pursue a career in acupuncture came to me both logically, as well as through spiritual guidance. It hit me one day like a bolt of lightning, and I have never looked back since...

Soon after graduation, and due to my love of nature, I spent a lot of time in the woods of NJ and contracted Lyme disease. I was able to beat it using purely holistic methods, proving to myself that the body can heal itself miraculously and naturally when given the right support.

Now over 20 years later, I have arrived at a level in which I can help a lot of health problems that stem from various causes. I don’t “treat or cure” anything; what I do is help direct and maximize the amazing self-organizing powers of the nervous system, and problems start disappearing on their own.

I can address pain pretty much anywhere on pretty much anyone; and can improve, digestion, sleep, regulating the immune system, headaches, neuropathy, women’s and men’s health issues, maximizing athletic performance, neurological conditions, and the list goes on.

My acupuncture can also help stimulate organs to function better such as the heart, the kidneys, the liver, the pancreas, and the thyroid. I look for the underlying (and sometimes seemingly unrelated) causes, no matter the condition; which makes solving medical mysteries some of the work I am most proud of. It is very rewarding and humbling to give my patients the relief and satisfaction they have not found anywhere else.

Another big plus is that I only use a couple of my little “healing antennas” on average, and I place them just under the skin, not deep at all. "Less is More" when it comes to my style, and no acupuncturist in the world is doing it the way I'm doing it right here in Molalla. all in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

I strive to do the best I can to help everyone reach their full potential for healing and for the life they were meant to live. It doesn’t matter what that may be or what we have to work with- I fully believe and have witnessed many times that it’s never too late for healing to occur...

No one comes to me to get stuck with needles. They come for what my acupuncture DOES.  Give me a few tiny little needles and I may change your world for the better.  Maybe even a lot better.

Be Well,

Rocco Manziano, L.Ac., CAA
